SS 316 Cap Screws ( 1 ½ “ x ¼” UNC ) x 4 in Nose Cones:

= 5 ft lbs or 7.0 N.m for Saildrives
= 7 ft lbs or 9.0 N.m for Shaft Nose Cones

M8 Reverse Screws & Rollers x 3 or 4 on boss:

= 15 ft lbs or 20 N.m

All  M8  &   M10   Set & Cap screws  - K3 & K4 Units

= 5 ft lbs or  7 N.m

Main attachment nut  – Square Drive  K3 & K4:

Saildrives  = 55 N.m or 40 ft lbs
Shafts        = 27 N.m or 20 ft lbs

Pozidrive C/S 1/2 x #4 Grease hole blocking  screws:

= 0.5 ft lbs or  0.8  N.m

Force to initiate movement of  Blade Carrier against spring

1.0–1.4 Kg = 2.2–3.0 lbs   Acting at the blade retention pin groove - without any internal friction from bearings or grease.
