The photo below shows the smallest  14.00" unit  ( Trimmed ex 14.50" ) requires  190 mm or 7.50" aft of the big end of the taper.

This is a 16.00" blade mounted on a 25 mm boss.

The front of the boss aligns with the start of the big end of the shaft taper.
